Have a seat...

After church, we went to visit dad today and he appeared to be tired. He apparently did not have a good night sleep. He had been in his chair for sometime, so we asked for him to be put back into his bed so he could relax. The physical therpaist came in and she did her usual routine with dad. She was excited to show us that dad is able to sit up and hold his back up without assistance. The therapist had to help him into position, but after doing so he was able to remain seated for a reasonable amount of time. Excellent progress!

He was tired and slept a lot, so we told the nurse we did not want to take him out at the 3pm visit because we wanted to be sure he was well rested for his procedure tommorow. The evening visit was better; he was himself and was well rested. We continued our reading of Ezekiel (now chapter 21) and as we read along he interjected.

We shared with dad the scriptures Pastor Neville fed the church today:
Isaiah 40:28-31
"My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work." John 4:34
"Jesus replied to them, "My Father is working right now, and so am I." John 5:17

Pray, tommorow is our big day! We are believing for good things. We'll keep you posted!

Blessings!
