Mark arrived safely thank God and now begins his tour of duty.
This morning dad was a little groggy. He had a rough night but he is doing better. Dad has been sleeping for most of the afternoon visits. When we got there for our evening and final visit of the day dad asked me for some water. I explained to him he can’t really drink yet. How quickly we forget just how precious the simplest of tasks are. We wet his lips with some ice, he really enjoys that. Mark had a few highlights of the Super Bowl on his iPOD and we showed dad. He was smiling a lot but then told us to stop. He said he wanted to watch it once he got home! We can’t wait to get this man home! Keep praying for him and our family.
